James Leonard has been drawing seriously since the mid 1990s. Leonard, of Wasilla, finds solace and escape from depressions through his art. Leonard wants his art to stand on its own, so he signs it “Leonard of Wasilla.” He says that any talent he possesses is a gift from God.
